Meet Our Season Nine Celebrities

Support Your Favorite Dancer and Charity

Each of our celebrities will be raising awareness and funds for their favorite charity. Please support their efforts by making a donation by check or online. You’ll also have the chance to support your favorite dancer by voting at the event.

Judges’ Selection

Judges’ Selection will be the couple with the greatest amount of judges’ points. During the live show, each of the 3 judges will score the dances up to 10 points, for a combined possible total of 30 points per dance. Judges will score the routines based on skill and entertainment value. In the event of a tie the judges will determine the winner.

People’s Choice Award

People’s Choice will be the couple with the greatest amount of audience votes collected during the event on July 27 (starting at 6:30pm). The audience will vote at the event by placing money in the celebrity’s collection jar. No online voting will take place. The “votes/dollars” in each collection jar will be forwarded to the charities after the event.

Fundraising Achievement Winner

The celebrity who collects the most donations for their sponsored charity prior to the start of the event will receive the Fundraising Achievement Award. Donations can be made to sponsored charities by check or online using PayPal via the Dancing Divas website.
