Dana Matz is a lifetime resident of Zanesville and a ZHS graduate. He has worked for the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce for over 15 years. Dana has been married to Keely for 31 years and is father to Dakota (Rachel) and Cheyenne, and grandpa to Whillow.
Dana has no formal dance training unless you count dancing at the “Y” or Roosevelt Jr. High (or maybe HoJo’s or The Outback???) Fun fact – he’s the “before” model for Dakota Matz Personal Training.
Genesis HealthCare Foundation
My charity is Genesis HealthCare Foundation with proceeds split evenly between Heart & Vascular Services and Cancer Services. Heart disease and cancer are the two of the leading causes of deaths in Muskingum County. I have firsthand knowledge of these diseases as I have lost my mother, grandfather and recently my father in law to heart attacks. Cancer has taken two sisters, a brother as well as my other grandfather.
