supporting Red Cross – Muskingum Valley Chapter Optometrist and MYSP President Dr. Hoffman received his B.Sc. and O.D. degrees from Ohio State University in 1972 and 1974, and after graduation, he was a Lieutenant/Optometrist in the Navy in San Diego for 3 years. He came to Zanesville in 1977 and has been active coaching, golfing, bowling (two 300 games), keeping basketball and football stats for Rosecrans, and participating in service clubs and civic activities. He is a member of the Ohio and American Optometric Associations, the Limestone Valley Lions Club, and the Maysville Youth Soccer Program where he has been president for 34 years. Paul has been married to Andy for 40 years, and they have 3 children and 2 grandsons. Paul’s Dance Experience: He does not have any dance experience but played soccer at OSU and hopes that will be helpful. Fun Facts about Paul: Dr. Hoffman met his dancing diva partner Kelly, when she played soccer in the MYSP that he helped organize in 1979. Although clearly more of a dancer that an athlete, she still thinks fondly of those years on the soccer field, especially because her dad was her coach. Red Cross – Muskingum Valley Chapter Doc is a long-time supporter of the Red Cross, having donated over 8 gallons of blood to date.
