Chief Waltemire has been married to his lovely wife Camie for 32 years and they have 2 sons, Eric Jr. and Jacob.

Eric has worked for the City of Zanesville for 24 years, 20 of those with the Zanesville City Fire Department, and was recently promoted to Fire Chief. He is also a member of the State of Ohio Fire Training Subcommittee.

Eric attends church at Cornerstone Full Gospel where he teaches adult Sunday School and sits on the board of directors for Naomi’s House. He is a licensed minister in the state of Ohio.

His education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Practical Ministry from Wagner Leadership Institute. Eric is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
