Jeff is the son of Jack and Ann (Finan) Hardwick and has four younger brothers, Greg, Tony, Lance & Ryan. He graduated from St. Thomas Parochial elementary school, Bishop Rosecrans Parochial High School, Ohio University at Zanesville and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
Jeff is Managing Partner of Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home and has been in funeral service in the Zanesville area since 1979. He has three children, Chase, Megan & Jenna. He is a 7th Degree Grand Master Black Belt karate instructor, having trained over 43 years, teaches at Ohio University at Zanesville and the Coszacks Karate Club. Jeff is the current Commodore of the Zanesville Yacht Club, Past President of the Zanesville Kiwanis Club, Past Vice President of the Zanesville Jaycees, Member of the Noon Rotary club, member of the Zanesville Country Club, member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church having served on both the school board & the Parish council, treasurer of 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus council #505, and past president of The Ohio Funeral Directors Assoc. Dist.#13, Southeast Regional Director for OFDA, member Ohio Funeral Directors Association, Ohio Embalmers Association, National Funeral Directors and is a remote surgical technician for the Central Ohio Lions Eye Bank and the Harvard Medical School Brain Bank.
In addition to his martial arts training, Jeff enjoys boating, motorcycle riding, snowboarding, wakeboarding, weight lifting, golf, fishing, movies and plays. He resides in Zanesville along the beautiful Muskingum River with his fiancé, Dena Findeiss Paul, who is a local florist.
