Jon was born and raised in Zanesville, and graduated from ZHS. Quite the musician, Jon has been playing piano since age 9 and and singing since even earlier than that!

He currently lives in Malta in Morgan County and has 4 children and 5 grandchildren. He has worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources as Park Officer for over 20 years.

He has been a part of our community’s Follies show for 27 straight years and is currently the Follies Family president, directing this variety show that benefits hospice.

Jon is one of the founders of Christ’s Table, and has therefore chosen it as his DWTD charity.

Christ’s Table

The mission statement of Christ’s Table is, “To feed the hungry children of God.” Christ’s Table in Zanesville, Ohio provides warm meals for anyone who comes to the facility, regardless of race, religion or any other factor. They also provide meals to those who are physically unable to come to Christ’s Table and request meals to be delivered to their homes. Christ’s Table helps those they serve to maintain their health and reduce their anxiety by providing warm nutritious meals.
