dancing for Muskingum County 4-H Endowment Fund
Lisa Lynn is a Wife, Mother, Mamaw, Daughter, Sister, Friend, and Manager who wears many hats. She has been married 35 years to Ray Lynn and raised 3 amazing sons, Michael, Matthew, and Mackenzie. Wyatt, her grandson, is the joy of her life. Lisa is also a Dog Mom to a one-year-old black German Shepard, Kiara.
Growing up Lisa was very active in sports; however, she found time to take dancing lessons at Marjorie Holzschuher Dance Studio. Lisa was an athlete and graduate of Rosecrans High School (where she is a member for the RHS Hall of Fame) and University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in communication Disorders. Following collegiate athletics and studies, Lisa completed a Masters in Speech Language Pathology at Ohio University. Lisa wanted to stay local following her post graduate education and began working immediately at Good Samaritan Hospital as a Speech Language Pathologist. She has worked for Genesis Health Care System for 34 ½ years and currently is the Outpatient Rehabilitation Services Manager.
When Lisa is not working, she has a passion for exercise, the outdoors, reading, walks with Kiara and spending time with her family and friends. She has run 7 marathons and many races. Currently, Lisa has slowed down a bit and doing less running and more golfing.
While there are many things in life that Lisa loves, Family & Faith, Health & Fitness, Sports, Flowers, Traveling, Journaling and watching the Lion King are just a few of the things that make her happy.
Lisa’s inspiration and motivation to do “Dancing with the Divas” is her son, Mackenzie “Kenzie” Ray Lynn. She wants to honor his love of being a country boy at heart and provide donations to the local 4-H community in his memory.
Lisa’s charity is the Muskingum County 4-H Endowment Fund. Muskingum County 4-H engages youth in valuable learning opportunities that empowers them with skills to lead for a lifetime. More than 1,300 local youth participate in community clubs led by approximately 250 adult volunteers. Funds raised provide educational opportunities.
