dancing for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville

Jeff Nezbeth is the Screening and Supportive Services Supervisor at Muskingum County Adult & Child Protective Services. He has also been an area basketball coach for several years, coaching anywhere from Middle School to Varsity teams. He is currently the 7th grade boys coach at Tri-Valley Middle School. During football season you can catch him on Z92 radio, broadcasting football games with David Kinder for WHIZ.

Jeff has been married for 19 years to Jackie Nezbeth. They have a big, blended family. This includes his son Zak Nezbeth and his two bonus sons, Tyler (Jill) Kaido and Wad (Marci) Kaido. They also have six grandchildren (Benji, Kate, Jackson, Will, Bowie, & Wesley) who they love to spoil.

Jeff has many activities that he enjoys. Some of his favorites are walking the trails at OUZ, going to different breweries with Jackie, enjoying a good book, and rooting on the Steelers, Guardians (yes, he knows that’s a weird combination) and of course the Buckeyes. As for dance experience, Jeff reports that he has ZERO experience.

This season, Jeff is dancing for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville. He is passionate about fundraising for a new Sports Assistance fund for children whose families may not be able to afford to pay to participate in youth sports. The fund will provide a scholarship to Littles (any school aged child) enrolled in BBBS, as well as any other child in Muskingum County. The scholarship covers athletic registration fees, camp fees, sports equipment, and associated costs to ensure a child’s participation.
