Paul Nestor is a funeral director and part owner of the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home. Originally from West Virginia he and his family recently moved to Zanesville from Buckhannon, WV. Paul is a member of the Zanesville Daybreak Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus Council #15824, the Y City Barbershop Choir, the Zanesville Fraternal Order of the Eagles and St. Thomas Catholic Church.
In 1999, as a summer job, he started working at Disney/ MGM Studios in Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. While working for Walt Disney World, he met his lovely wife of 13 years, Liza; who worked at Walt Disney World at the same time. After graduating from West Virginia University he returned to Walt Disney World where he proposed to Liza and they began their life together. After working for Walt Disney World, Paul returned to West Virginia and began working in the funeral industry and graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2003.
Paul and Liza have two sons, Wesley age 10 and Joshua age 4. Both boys attend Bishop Fenwick Elementary. Paul’s parents Dr. Patrick and Ann Nestor still reside on their family farm in Cox’s Mills, WV. Paul enjoys fishing, the outdoors, and playing cards, especially euchre and Gin Rummy with Liza.
Fun Facts about Paul:
Paul has been a lifelong supporter of scouting. His son Wesley recently advanced from Webelos to Boy Scouts last spring, and scouting is an activity Paul enjoys with Wesley and soon Joshua.
Muskingum Valley Council Boy Scouts of America
The Muskingum Valley Council (MVC) is a Chapter of the Boy Scouts of America. The MVC BSA was founded in 1953 and is located in east central and southeastern Ohio. Units in Coshocton, Guernsey, Knox, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Perry and Tuscarawas counties total 106 troops and serve 2,900 youths.
