Ron is the Co-owner of The Thomas Company and LBT Construction, concentrating on commercial and residential and development. He is the former Co-owner of Ray Thomas LumberTown at Dillon Falls.

Ron has served as a board member (emeritus) for Muskingum County Community Foundation and filled several Board positions in Market Street Baptist Church.

His previous dance experience includes several years of group “ballroom” lessons with his wife Betsy and hosting weekly dance sessions at Genesis Lifestyle and Fitness Center.
Ron is married to the former Betsy Ross (REALLY). Both he and Betsy are graduates of West Muskingum High School and Miami University. They have two sons and three terrific grandchildren: Ryan, Kirsten, and Zachary.

Ron and Betsy enjoy restoring and showing vintage automobiles. They both serve as officers in the Early Times Chapter of the Pontiac Oakland International car club

Muskingum County Community Foundation

The Muskingum County Community Foundation is a public charity that enables community-minded citizens to make the most of their charitable giving while improving the quality of life in Muskingum County. The Foundation gives individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofit organizations the opportunity to make a profound impact on our community through gifts that give forever in the name of the donor. The Foundation also allows donors to provide immediate gifts to nonprofits through the establishment of donor advised funds.

The Foundation manages a collection of funds contributed by individuals, families, businesses, and estates. The Foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations serving Muskingum County and scholarships to local students. Gifts to nonprofit entities (such as colleges, museums, etc.) are also made by the Foundation by request of donors. Learn more here.
