dancing for Muskingum Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution

Samatha Roush is dancing for the Muskingum Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. She has proudly served the organization at the National, State and local levels since 2018. DAR provides her with an outlet to be patriotic without politics. Patriotism has been rooted in her since being born a United States Air Force BRAT.

Sam is a registered nurse at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She has dedicated her career to pediatric medicine for the past 18 years, since graduating from OUZ in 2008. For the past 5 years she has volunteered with Honor Flight Columbus as a Guardian, assisting Veterans of WWII, The Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War in a celebration tour to Washington D.C.

Sam is the daughter of Dennis and Jayne Dunlap of Zanesville. Sam’s dance experience is limited to her time in the Philo High School Marching Band from 2001-2005. Sam is looking forward to adding a bit of DAR-ling sparkle to your evening and hopes you enjoy the show!

The Daughter of the American Revolution (DAR) is a female service organization with a deeply rich history while also being relevant in today’s world. More than 1,000,000 women have joined the organization since it was founded over a century ago. They became members to honor their heritage as well as make a difference in their communities across the country and the world. Muskingum Chapter DAR has been active in Zanesville celebrating America since 1893, supporting our local schools, military, and veteran’s organizations.
